Report: Michael Floyd suspended four games of NFL season

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Michael Floyd could be in hot water again.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Michael Floyd will be suspended the first four weeks of the 2017 NFL season, according to a report.

It was speculated that the Vikings would open their season without Floyd due to a potential suspension relating to a February 2017 DUI conviction. Now the situation is a reality.

Floyd finished up his house arrest punishment and will now wait to serve out his NFL punishment.

The Vikings signed Floyd during free agency. Head coach Mike Zimmer has since taken a zero-tolerance stance saying he would cut Floyd if he found out the receiver was lying to him about his June failed alcohol tests.

We will have to wait to see how the Vikings handle this latest piece of news as training camp approaches.
