The Arizona Cardinals have reportedly released wide receiver Michael Crabtree after just two games played with the club.

Crabtree appeared in two of Arizona’s first three games, starting one of them. He caught just four passes for 22 yards.

The veteran and former first-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers still has the ability to be productive in the right situation. Last season, he caught 54 passes for 607 yards and three touchdowns as a member of the Baltimore Ravens.

Arizona, however, clearly is looking to get younger and faster. Neither of those descriptions fits Crabtree, who was never known for his speed and is playing out his Age 32 season.
