The Boston Celtics are banking on star guard Kyrie Irving being 100 percent and ready to go for the 2018-19 season. Despite seeing Irving miss the team’s entire playoff run last season with a knee injury, Boston took the then LeBron James-led Cavaliers to seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Now that LeBron is calling the shots in Los Angeles, most have Boston as the overwhelming favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference. Though, that’s primarily predicated on Irving’s status this coming season.
According to Chris Mannix of Yahoo! Sports, Irving was just spotted working out in South Beach. Not only that, those at the scene noted that the NBA champ looked “amazing.”
From someone at the recent star-studded workout in Miami, Kyrie Irving looked "amazing." No restrictions, played for two straight days.

This has to be music to the ears of the Celtics and their fans. Irving, 26, averaged 24.4 points and 5.1 assists in his first season with Boston. He also missed 22 games and the playoff run to injury.
Entering the final year of his contract, Irving wants to prove that he’s not an injury risk heading into free agency next summer. Equally as important, Boston needs him 100 percent to be considered a top-end title contender.
