In a start to the 2018 season that has already been filled with turmoil, the Cleveland Cavaliers will now reportedly be without Kevin Love for the next six-plus weeks due to surgery on his left foot.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Love underwent surgery recently on his left foot to repair problems with his toe and he will be re-evaluated by the medical staff in six weeks.

Love played in just four games to start the season before a lingering issue with his toe sidelined him since Oct. 25. Cleveland played it cautiously with him and held him out in hopes surgery could be avoided, but Love ultimately needed the procedure.
The Cavaliers sit at the bottom of the NBA with a 1-7 record, but now things could get even worse for the product on the court. Cleveland can only hope at this point Love makes a full recovery and bounces back when he returns, then they can flip him at the trade deadline as the organization starts its massive rebuild.
