From his days with Dan Patrick on ESPN’s SportsCenter to his tenure as a left-wing talking head on the cable news station MSNBC, Keith Olbermann has always been a controversial figure around both the sports and political worlds.

So it was a bit of a surprise when ESPN decided to bring Olbermann back when he opted to re-enter the world of sports journalism two years back.

It now appears that the two sides will end their second marriage the same way their ill-fated first marriage came to a conclusion.

In divorce:

In case you are unfamiliar with James Andrew Miller, he’s the writer that co-authored the book Those Guys Have All the Fun, which put into the public’s mind issues that went on behind the scenes at ESPN since its inception in 1978.

It remains to be seen whether Keith will go quietly this time. Remember, he created a pretty big ado the last time these two sides parted ways.
