New York Jets cornerback Rashard Robinson was reportedly arrested and charged with drug possession and careless driving. According to the Associated Press, Robinson was pulled over in New Jersey last December when and police found “THC infused Peanut Budda Buddah Candy” in his possession.
The Jets would not comment on this, per the report, as it’s a pending legal matter.
A former fourth-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2016, Robinson was traded to the Jets last October. He appeared in 14 total games, eight for the Jets, and started one game for Gang Green.
The cornerback tallied 28 total tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery this season.
