The Jacksonville Jaguars have an exceedingly high price tag for teams interested in pulling off a trade for cornerback Jalen Ramsey.
According to Albert Breer of The MMQB, Jacksonville is asking for two first-round picks.
Ramsey requested a trade through his agent following Jacksonville’s Week 2 loss to the Houston Texans. During the game, he got into it with head coach Doug Marrone on the sideline, signalling a real issue between himself and the organization.
As the Jaguars look for a trade partner, Ramsey has made it clear he will continue to play and is dedicated to getting himself ready for the team’s Week 3 Thursday night matchup against the Tennessee Titans.
Any team that does make a trade for Ramsey will obviously have to have the cap space to sign him to a huge long-term extension. Right now, Ramsey — one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL — is playing out the fourth year of his rookie deal, with his fifth-year option still to come.
