Report: Ezekiel Elliott might be in trouble with NFL for pulling down woman’s top during parade

Ezekiel Elliott

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, already being investigated by the NFL, could be in more hot water under the league’s Personal Conduct Policy.

TMZ Sports uncovered the reason why, as Elliott recently exposed the bosom of a woman during a St. Patrick’s Day parade in Dallas.

“Zeke was drinking a beer next to a group of people on the roof of a Dallas bar to watch the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Greenville Ave.

“The woman is playing to paradegoers and motions at her breasts — then points to Zeke. Next thing you know, he reaches over and pulls her top down, exposing her bare breast. She scrambles to cover up.”

Of course, Elliott’s people are claiming it was all in good fun, but Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk broke down why this could be a big deal for the running back.

“If the folks at 345 Park Avenue trying to sift through the evidence are still undecided on whether to believe Elliott or the woman who has accused him of five incident of domestic violence in a six-day period, this is the kind of thing that could break the tie under the very low ‘more likely than not’ standard of evidence.

“It also could amount to an aggravating circumstance for any violation happening in 2016, enhancing the punishment the league imposes. It also could amount to a separate violation of the Personal Conduct Policy.”

Florio also notes that the NFL suspended Ben Roethlisberger despite the fact that there wasn’t enough evidence to support the quarterback had violated the law and could do the same with Elliott in this case.

Elliott is being investigated (still) by the NFL regarding claims by an ex-girlfriend that he abused her physically.

Despite Elliott’s hope that the league would get on with its investigation, and despite the fact that police cleared him, Roger Goodell and Co. have plodded along methodically with no timetable for conclusion.

And because of that, this “harmless” bit of fun at a parade could potentially lead to Elliott being in some trouble with the league.
