The Los Angeles Lakers will have every player on the roster tested for COVID-19 and undergo a 14-day self-quarantine, per Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times.

Turner shared the news after the Lakers had a conference call with players over the coronavirus pandemic.

This news comes on the heels of the Brooklyn Nets announcing that four of their players, one of whom is Kevin Durant, have tested positive for COVID-19.

This brings the total of NBA players who have tested positive for the coronavirus up to seven. According to Johns Hopkins University, there are 5,894 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States at this time — a figure that is more than five times higher than we had confirmed just one week ago.
