Report: Emmanuel Sanders traded to 49ers

San Francisco 49ers draft 2020

The San Francisco 49ers have upgraded their receiving corps. Emmanuel Sanders has reportedly been traded, along with a fifth-round pick, to San Francisco in exchange for a third- and fourth-round pick, per Mike Klis of 9News in Denver.

This move immediately upgrades San Francisco’s offense.

Sanders is a highly productive receiver who has caught 30 passes for 367 yards and two touchdowns this season — one more than any other player on San Francisco’s roster.

The 49ers, undefeated at 6-0, are clearly gearing up for a deep playoff run. If Sanders can stay healthy this season, he should become a main weapon for Jimmy Garoppolo in the passing game and give the 49ers more balance overall.
