Report: Derrick Rose suffers torn meniscus, out remainder of season

Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose just cannot stay healthy. The New York Knicks point guard, already bothered by a sore knee, will reportedly miss the rest of the season with a torn meniscus.

This is a terrible blow to Rose personally. He has suffered seemingly countless knee injuries dating back to the 2011-12 season when he tore an ACL.

Appearing in 64 games this year for the Knicks, Rose averaged 18 points, 4.4 assists and 3.8 assists per game. Though he’s only played in eight seasons as a pro, one cannot help but wonder if his career is already winding down after it began with so much promise.
