Report: Dak Prescott’s dog, which sent woman to hospital, could be put down

A couple weeks back, a dog owned by Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott got loose, got into a fight with a neighbor’s dog and ultimately sent his neighbor to the hospital after inflicting injuries as she tried to break up said fight.

TMZ Sports reported Thursday morning that “the case has been referred to the City of Frisco Municipal Court for a hearing to determine if the dog will be or should be classified as a ‘dangerous dog.'”

Prescott, who was not home at the time of the attack, could now lose the Pit Bull if it is deemed a “dangerous dog.”

In such a case, the dog could be euthanized, among other options. It was initially quarantined 10 days following the incident. The 10 days are up now, yet Prescott’s dog remains in custody “due to the seriousness of the incident.”
