The Indianapolis Colts continue to add to their impressive roster and are signing former All-Pro cornerback Xavier Rhodes to a one-year contract.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter shared the news on this Thursday.

Rhodes is a former first-round pick out of Florida State. He spent his first seven seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, earning three Pro Bowl trips, along with a First-team All Pro nod in 2017. He has 10 interceptions and 73 passes defensed as a pro.

Indianapolis recently upgraded their defensive line in a huge way trading for former San Francisco 49ers All-Pro defensive tackle, DeForest Buckner. Now they’re adding a talented cornerback in Rhodes, who along with Rock Ya-Sin and Malik Hooker give the Colts an impressive defensive secondary.

On top of that, the Colts have the veteran quarterback they have been looking for since Andrew Luck retired last summer. With Philip Rivers, combined with the upgrades on defense, this team has a chance to go far in 2020.
