Report: Chris Paul agrees to four-year, $160M contract with Rockets

The Houston Rockets believed if Chris Paul stayed healthy, they would have beat the Golden State Warriors. They may now have another chance to prove it after Paul re-signed with Houston Sunday morning.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Paul and the Rockets agreed to a four-year, max contract that will averages $40 million per season.

The 33-year-old enjoyed great success in his first season with the Rockets. In 58 games during the regular season, he averaged 18.6 points, 7.9 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.7 steals per game.

Now with Paul signed for the foreseeable future, Houston can focus its efforts on retaining center Clint Capela and forward Trevor Ariza.
