Chase Young is seen by many to be the top overall prospect at any position coming into the 2020 NFL Draft, and he’s getting rave reviews for his performance during interviews at the 2020 NFL Scouting Combine.

Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report shared some insight into this in his latest column:

“Several teams said that Young was impressive during his combine interviews. ‘Electric,’ is how one coach described the presumptive No. 2 pick in the upcoming draft. A team personnel executive who met with Young said he was ‘smart, quick and a natural leader. He blew us away.'”

Being a dynamo on the field is one thing. Being a player who can change a locker room in a positive way while dominating on the gridiron is quite another. Based on the way people are talking about Young, he’s the latter.

The Cincinnati Bengals appear destined to take Joe Burrow atop the draft. The Washington Redskins have the second overall selection and are rumored to have serious interest in Tua Tagovailoa.

However, as we explored in a recent column, the obvious choice here is for Washington to simply take Young and reap the rewards. Seems like a no-brainer, but we are talking about the most dysfunctional franchise in the NFL, after all.
