The Los Angeles Chargers might be in the midst of retooling after seeing longtime quarterback Philip Rivers depart in free agency. But that has not stopped the team from attempting to upgrade its roster.

According to ESPN’s Josina Anderson, Los Angeles has signed four-time Pro Bowl cornerback Chris Harris away from the division rival Denver Broncos.

Harris, 30, has been among the best slot corners in the NFL since entering the league back in 2011. He earned Pro Bowl nods each season from 2014-16 and once again back in 2017.

The veteran has recorded 443 tackles, 86 passes defended 20 interceptions and four touchdowns in nine seasons, all with the Broncos.

Harris joins a stacked Chargers secondary that already includes standouts Derwin James, Casey Hayward and Desmond King.
