In the midst of a surprising three-game winning streak, the Arizona Cardinals have added to their plethora of talent in the backfield.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Arizona has signed former Pro Bowl running back Alfred Morris. This move comes with starter David Johnson nursing an ankle injury.
A sixth-round pick of the Washington Redskins back in 2012, Morris put up 4,272 total yards in his first three seasons. He earned Pro Bowl appearances back in 2013 and 2014.
Most recently, Morris was with the Cowboys during training camp and the preseason this summer. He gained 428 yards as a member of the San Francisco 49ers last season.
Arizona is set to take on the Saints in New Orleans this week in hopes of moving to 4-3-1 on the season.
