Report: Cardinals not shopping QB Josh Rosen

While much speculation has been abound that the Arizona Cardinals are looking to move on from quarterback Josh Rosen after only one year, that may not be the case.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Cardinals have given no indicators that they’re ready to move on from Rosen. He also noted that they “have not responded to any overtures” as of yet.

This flies in the face of much of what we’ve heard recently. Previous reports have suggested that a trade to the Washington Redskins might be imminent. There are certainly plenty of other quarterback needy teams.

Ultimately, the big question is, what does Arizona think about either Dwayne Haskins or Kyler Murray? The Cards are reportedly quite interested in the latter. But if they’re drafting Murray at No. 1, keeping Rosen makes very little sense.

Of course, with free agency and the draft starting soon, there’s a lot of disinformation out there. Teams are trying to keep others guessing and get the best deals for themselves. Obviously a good deal of that is happening here.

Regardless of what’s true, these rumors will be interesting to follow as we move closer to the draft.
