The 2024 Call of Duty League season will begin Dec. 8 with qualifiers for the first major to be hosted in Boston, Dexerto reported Monday.

The format of the new season will feature four LAN majors following a series of online qualifier matches.

The locations of the other three majors were not yet known. The Boston major is slated for Jan. 25-28, with the other three to be played in-person March 21-24, May 16-19 and June 20-23.

Teams will play seven qualifier matches before each major instead of five, Dexerto reported. The league plans to announce its schedule on Thursday, according to the report.

The New York Subliners are the reigning CDL champions, having posted a 5-0 sweep of the Toronto Ultra in the final on June 18 in Las Vegas to capture the $1 million first prize.
