Report: Bucks offering the farm to Pelicans for Anthony Davis

There are 30 teams in the NBA who would love to have New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis on their roster. Unfortunately for the Pelicans, Davis has now made it clear that he wants out of dodge.

Whether the game’s best big man is traded before next week’s deadline remains to be seen. But he will almost certainly be playing in another NBA city next season.

With no shortage of teams interested in Davis, this one report indicates that the Milwaukee Bucks have entered the sweepstakes for the five-time All-Star. More importantly, they have offered up everyone on the roster outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Before we get too excited about the possibility of the Greek Freak and AD teaming up together in Wisconsin, it’s important to note that the Bucks don’t have a whole lot of assets to offer up for Davis.

The starting-off point in negotiations would likely have to be Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon. From there, Milwaukee would have to offer up multiple unprotected first-round picks to bring Davis in.

It’s a pie-in-the-sky thought, but Davis and Antetokounmpo working together in Milwaukee would be all sorts of fun. Remember, the Bucks’ star has already recruited AD. Just some food for thought there.
