Pro Bowl players at a position of utmost importance on the football field don’t normally hit the free agent market in June. Due to a combination of scheme-fit issues and salary, the Kansas City Chiefs released cornerback Brandon Flowers earlier in June.
Needless to say, he has been a highly coveted asset since hitting the open market. And there is now a report out there suggesting that Flowers will likely choose a team at some point this week.
Sounds like much-sought-after CB Brandon Flowers will make a decision on his next team sometime midweek. Plenty of suitors

As many as 10 teams showed interest in Flowers immediately following his release. That’s not to say there aren’t any other teams interested. Flowers only in-person visit has been with the San Diego Chargers. It remains to be seen what type of deal Flowers might be looking for, but he could decide to accept a one-year offer in order to hit the market again next March.
