Report: Bills Sale Moving in Terry Pegula’s Direction

A report by Tim Graham of Buffalo News and since confirmed by multiple insiders around the NFL indicates that the Buffalo Bills could be sold as early as Tuesday to Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter also covered this breaking news at halftime of the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers Monday Night Football game.

If the sale to Pegula goes through as expected, it could very well be a sign that the Bills will remain in Buffalo. This hasn’t been something that we could have said with certainty since long-time Bills owner Ralph Wilson passed away earlier this year and the team was put up for sale.

Pegula has owned the Sabres since 2011 and is known as trendsetter in the natural gas industry. His heart appears to be in Western New York, which can put Bills fans at ease.
