After signing Khalil Mack to a record-breaking contract, the Chicago Bears are now locking up another important player for their defense.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Bears have agreed to a four-year extension with nose tackle Eddie Goldman.

Goldman’s new contract is worth over $42 million and carries $25 million guaranteed, according to the report. He now becomes one of the league’s highest-paid nose tackles as the 24-year-old emerges as one of the best interior disruptors in the NFC.
Chicago has now locked up Mack, Goldman and cornerback Kyle Fuller for years to come as core pieces of its defense. Paired with Leonard Floyd, Akiem Hicks and Roquan Smith, Chicago’s defense is set for years to come at every level.
