The rib injury that has plagued Los Angeles Rams cornerback Aqib Talib will keep him out at least eight more games, as he’s reportedly been placed in injured reserve.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Talib could return later this season.
After six weeks on injured reserve, Talib can practice for up to three weeks. He can practice at any time after that, after which the team has three weeks from the start of his return to activate him. Regardless, Talib cannot play until eight weeks have passed.
Talib last played for the Rams in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks. He has tallied 14 tackles this season.
