Adam Thielen needed stitches for a cut on his ankle due to a mid-week freak accident during practice, but the Minnesota Vikings receiver should be on the field against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday.
Courtney Cronin of ESPN shared that Thielen will likely be active for Saturday’s divisional-round game.
As you can tell from the following videos, the laceration doesn’t appear to be slowing Thielen down and he appears to be gearing up to play.
A while later, the Vikings released their inactives, and Thielen wasn’t on the list.
If Thielen is not hindered by his injury, then the Vikings will have a better chance of upsetting the No. 1 seed in Santa Clara. In 10 games this season, Thielen caught 30 passes for 418 yards and six touchdowns.
