Aaron Gordon may not have walked out of Air Canada Centre with a trophy, but his one-of-a-kind dunk routine may lead to some extra money for his wallet.

Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports is reporting Gordon’s agent is discussing some potential endorsement deals after his client’s buzz-worthy performance:

Our first thought on Saturday night was that Red Bull should give the Orlando Magic forward a call for his high-flying feats of greatness.

In case you’re wondering what all the fuss is about, just take a look at these two ridiculous dunks pulled off by Gordon, who lost to Zach LaVine in one of the best dunk contest in the history of the league.

Gordon’s on-court achievements, away from any dunk contest, have been moderate so far in his first year-and-a-half in the NBA. This season he’s averaging 7.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, playing 21.8 minutes on average per contest.

Based on those numbers, and the fact that Orlando are among the worst teams in the Eastern Conference, you wouldn’t expect a player of Gordon’s ilk to earn any lucrative endorsement deals.

However, given how high his stock is right now as a recognizable figure, there is no better time for companies to strike while the iron is hot.
