The San Francisco 49ers will elevate veteran wide receiver Willie Snead IV to the active roster for Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, Pro Football Network reported.

Snead, 29, would take the roster spot of rookie WR Danny Gray (hip), who is listed as doubtful and expected to miss the game.

Snead was signed to the team’s practice squad after getting released in final roster cuts.

Snead has 279 career catches for 3,431 yards and 16 touchdowns in 95 career games (48 starts) with four teams. He appeared in nine games for the Carolina Panthers and Las Vegas Raiders in 2021.

Gray appeared in two games this season and has been targeted two times. He was selected in the third round of this year’s draft.

Also for the Niners, DL Arik Armstead (foot), TE Ross Dwelley (rib) and DL Javon Kinlaw (knee) are all questionable against the Rams. Offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill (hamstring) was cleared to play after he was injured in Week 1 of the preseason.
