The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday afternoon that they have waived former leading rusher Alex Collins.

This comes mere hours after Collins, 24, was arrested near the Ravens’ facility in Maryland Friday morning following an accident that saw him drive his vehicle into a tree.

More details regarding the incident in question are not available. But it’s safe to say that Collins was under the influence of something.

A fifth-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks back in 2016, Collins joined the Ravens the following year. He went on to put up 1,160 total yards in 2017. This past season saw Collins rack up north of 500 total yards and eight touchdowns.
