Ravens say recently-acquired Marcus Peters will play Sunday

The Baltimore Ravens pulled off a blockbuster trade with the Los Angeles Rams for Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters on Tuesday.

This move acted as a precursor to the Rams acquiring Jalen Ramsey in a separate trade. But make no mistake about it, Peters is going to help a contending Ravens team big time moving forward.

According to head coach John Harbaugh, that will start this week against the Seahawks in Seattle.

This is interesting in that Peters will now play in Seattle for the second time in three weeks. He struggled in a Week 5 loss to his former division rivals.

Peters, 26, has recorded 14 tackles, four passes defended, two interceptions and a touchdown this season. The two-time Pro Bowler has tallied a whopping 24 interceptions in 67 career games.

Baltimore is hoping that the impending free agent helps improve a pass defense that ranks in the bottom eight of the NFL this season.
