The Baltimore Ravens made changes in their backfield on Saturday, activating Gus Edwards from the physically unable to perform list and placing J.K. Dobbins on injured reserve.

Edwards missed all of last season with a torn ACL but has practiced the past two weeks in preparation for his return. He rushed for 723 yards and six touchdowns on 144 carries in 16 games (six starts) back in 2020.

Dobbins, 23, is set to get arthroscopic knee surgery and is expected to miss four to six weeks, ESPN reported. He had also missed all of 2021 with a knee injury. He has rushed for 123 yards and a TD on 35 touches this season.

Edwards, 27, will join Kenyan Drake, Justice Hill and Mike Davis in the backfield this week when the Ravens (3-3) face the Cleveland Browns (2-4).
