Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay isn’t just an an offensive mastermind, he also has time to keep up with the news of the day.

In his weekly presser ahead of Los Angeles’ season opener against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, McVay was asked about audibles in an offense that’s going to be led by the recently-extended Jared Goff.

His response was perfection.

McVay is referencing the drama we’ve seen unfold between members of the Green Bay press and Packers head coachMatt LaFleur.

LaFleur almost lost his cool when asked earlier this week if Aaron Rodgers was going to have freedom to change plays at the line. It’s been a point of contention around those parts for some time.

Mr. McVay obviously isn’t unaware of the situation.

It’s also important to note that Goff, fresh off signing a record-breaking extension, will indeed have freedom to audible at the line. So let’s not ask McVay about it again.
