Rams early one-point favorites over Patriots in Super Bowl LIII

The dust has not even settled from what was an amazing NFL Championship Sunday. Even then, betting sites are getting into the action predicting who will come out on top in Super Bowl LIII between the upstart Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots.

OddsShark has the Rams as one-point favorites with an under/under of 57.5 points.

Meanwhile, Super Book USA also has Los Angeles as one-point favorites over a Pats team that will be appearing in its ninth Super Bowl under Tom Brady.

What exactly does this mean? Well, not a whole heck of a lot. The over/under is what we should pay attention to right now.

Neither the AFC or NFC Championship Game saw an under/under this high. It’s a clear indication that Vegas and the larger gambling world is expecting a high-scoring affair between the two teams.

But for now, the Rams are slightly favored to take out New England. That could obviously change here in the next two weeks.

Update: Make that a few minutes. According to multiple sportsbooks, William Hill included, the Patriots are now 1.5-point favorites over Los Angeles. All is right in the world again.
