Hill, 25, started four games for the team last season. In the process, he recorded 38 tackles and two passes defended.
Some expected Hill to play a larger role in first-year defensive coordinator Wade Phillips’ system. While that might very well still be true, this suspension does the former Oregon standout no real favors moving forward into the off-season program.
If we know one thing about the veteran Phillips, it’s that he doesn’t put up with games an immaturity off the field.
