Report: Rams, 49ers and Browns looking to sign Terrelle Pryor

Washington Redskins receiver Terrelle Pryor

Even after a disastrous 2017 campaign with the Washington Redskins, wide receiver Terrelle Pryor has more than one suitor vying for his services right now, according to Mike Silver of NFL.com.

Silver reports the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns are all interested in signing Pryor.

Cleveland’s interest in Pryor was known, as Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com has been pounding on that drum for a while now. However, San Francisco and Los Angeles being in on this player is a bit of news to us here.

Pryor had a breakout campaign with the Browns in 2016, catching 77 passes for 1,007 yards and four touchdowns. Last year in Washington he ended up getting benched and barely contributed, catching just 20 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown. However, teams are likely more interested in what he did in 2016 than what happened while he was signed with one of the NFL’s biggest dumpster fires last year.

It’s going to be interesting to see where Pryor lands. He’s an athletic, big receiver who has big-play abilities and could thrive in the right situation.
