Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden, attending the big Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder fight in Las Vegas tonight, says there will be a Raiders minicamp in June.

The newly-minted Las Vegas Raiders may be keeping their formal training camp in Alameda, Calif. for the time being, but team head coach Jon Gruden says June’s Raiders minicamp will be held in Las Vegas.

Gruden told the Las Vegas Review-Journal – while sitting ringside at tonight’s fight – about the plan to hold the camp in the team’s new home city.

“If we can let everyone in, we will,” Gruden said during an interview at the MGM Grand Garden prior to the fight, according to the report. Gruden was again with owner Mark Davis but this time there was no sign of Tom Brady.

Will the June Raiders minicamp take place at the team’s new digs? The team isn’t saying.

There are no other details officially from the Raiders but the Review-Journal report states a “high-level source” states the team is planning a fan event around the camp.

Although the team’s new training facility and headquarters is slated to be finished in June, it’s unclear if this camp would be held there or elsewhere.

The Raiders will also complete the $1.8 billion Allegiant Stadium Las Vegas just a month later in July. That project is on time and just last week it’s roof structure started the installation process of 7-acres of ETFE polymer plastic.
