While Hoskins hasn’t quite maintained the torrid pace that he had as a rookie in 2017, he has been one of Philadelphia’s best bats. He has six home runs and is slashing 233/.363/.415.
Entering Wednesday’s game with the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Phillies are in third place in the National League East, but sit only one behind the first place Atlanta Braves. Philadelphia also occupies the second Wild Card spot in the National League.
