The Philadelphia Eagles have signed first-round pick Jalen Reagor to his rookie contract. The team announced the move on Monday morning.

Jalen Reagor contract details

Reagor and all other first-round rookies sign contracts that are automatically slotted to their draft spot.

As the 21st overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft, the former TCU star will earn $13.3 million in the first four years of his NFL career. He also has a fifth-year option that pays significantly more, should the team pick it up.

At TCU, Jalen Reagor put up big stats

A big-play receiver for the Horned Frogs for three seasons, Reagor had great success in his 39 games at the collegiate level.

From 2017-19, Reagor caught 148 passes for 2,248 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also rushed for 324 yards and two touchdowns on 35 attempts, pitching in on special teams as well with 724 return yards and a punt returned for a touchdown.

The Eagles surprised some by selecting Reagor in the first round when the likes of Justin Jefferson (LSU) and Tee Higgins (Clemson) were still on the board. Clearly, the franchise has big plans for the rookie and hopes he can help Carson Wentz take yet another step in his development in the years to come.
