Phil Mickelson: 2018 Masters will be ‘one of the most exciting Masters in years’

With some of the best, most well known golfers in the world coming in red hot, the 2018 Masters is shaping up to be a classic. One man who definitively agrees with that is three-time Masters champion Phil Mickelson.

The Masters is always special. One of the reasons is that it’s so seldom boring. Even in years when the tournament is won by multiple shots, the Green Jacket rarely feels truly decided until the very end.

So, being one of the most exciting Masters in years would be an accomplishment. But things sure are shaping up that way.

Mickelson has won this year. Top players like Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, and defending champ Sergio Garcia have also won. Players who haven’t won include guys like Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, and of course, Tiger Woods.

It’s hotly anticipated. And with the number of players coming in so strong, the 2018 Masters almost has to live up to the hype.
