New Orleans Pelicans rookie No. 1 pick Zion Williamson has made a major impact since missing the first 44 games of the season with a knee injury. The star forward is averaging 19.6 points and 8.0 rebounds on 55% shooting in that span.

Unfortunately for New Orleans, the injury bug has popped up once again surrounding Williamson. The team added him to its injury report ahead of Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

Williamson is listed as questionable with a sprained right toe. While this seems minor in the grand scheme of things, an injury of any ilk to a player in Williamson who has suffered through multiple injuries over the past calendar year can’t be seen as a good thing.

New Orleans currently finds itself at 20-31 on the season and on the brink of falling completely out of the Western Conference Playoff race. The one saving grace for this team has been Williamson’s return from injury. The hope here is that it is indeed just a minor toe sprain.
