Running back James Starks was listed on the Green Bay Packers’ injury report this week. It was a bit of a surprise considering he didn’t show himself to be injured during the team’s win over the Seattle Seahawks last week.

Head coach Mike McCarthy detailed the reason Starks showed up on the report and how he suffered the concussion that might keep him out this week.

Football aside, the most important thing here is that Starks is okay. If you suffer a concussion in a car accident, it had to be a pretty darn violent collision. At the very least, the Packers are indicating that Starks himself is fine.

On the field, Starks hasn’t necessarily played a big role for the Packers, even with Eddie Lacy out. Last week saw both Ty Montgomery and Christine Michael receive more snaps than Starks.
