Just moments into the Thursday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers running back Jamaal Williams needed to be carted off the field after taking a vicious hit by Eagles pass rusher Derek Barnett.

Williams hauled in a short pass from Aaron Rodgers and was immediately swarmed by defenders. As they started pulling him down, Barnett flew in and drilled Williams directly in the helmet.

Barnett was flagged for unnecessary roughness but remained in the game. Meanwhile, Williams remained on the turf until being carted off the field on a stretcher and taken to the hospital.

Jones and fullback Danny Vitale are now the only healthy running backs on Green Bay’s active roster.
