Indiana Pacers star center Myles Turner suffered a scary looking lower-body injury during Wednesday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. It was so bad that he had to be helped off the court.

Those in Indiana were worried about a long-term injury. While the news isn’t tremendous, reports suggest that Turner is week-to-week with a sprained ankle.

Given this timeline, it looks to be a high-ankle sprain for the big man. With star guard Victor Oladipo still sidelined, this is going to test Indiana’s depth moving forward.

The team is just 1-3 on the season and ranks 24th in the Association in scoring.

A fifth-year player out of Texas, Turner was averaging 17.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.7 blocks before exiting Wednesday’s game.
