The Oklahoma Sooners finally got on the board with a touchdown in the second quarter, but a penalty after the score set them up for a kickoff from their own 10-yard line.
As is this weren’t weird enough, the Crimson Tide ended up calling a fair catch from their own 21-yard line when they could have returned it.
From there, the Sooners forced the first punt of the night as ‘Bama went three-and-out. Just a strange set of circumstances in a game that had been all Crimson Tide, all the time to this point.
