Ohio State football could have 20% capacity, fans required to wear mask

We have absolutely no idea when (or if) the 2020 college football season will take place this fall. What we do know is that Big Ten teams will play conference-only schedules.

For now, one of the top teams in the conference is still looking to host fans once the season does start. Though, there’s some major caveats here.

Ohio State expects 20% capacity and will require fans to wear masks

There’s been a lot of questions surrounding the likelihood that the 2020 college football season will start as planned amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Most-recent suggestions are that the season is on extremely thin ice.

As for Ohio, the state has joined others in seeing an uptick in virus cases over the past month. In reality, this will play the largest role in terms of both the 2020 college football season and whether fans will be in attendance.

As of right now, the Buckeyes are slated to open their season at home against Rutgers on Sept. 26. Again, it would be an all Big Ten schedule
