Odell Beckham Jr’s cousin to try out for the Jets

Even without any college football experience, personal trainer and weightlifter Terron Beckham caught the eyes of NFL teams prior to the 2016 NFL Draft.

He held a pro day workout back April, a workout that was attended by the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, New York Giants and Oakland Raiders.

Outside of not playing a single snap of college football, what makes Beckham’s story so interesting is that he’s Odell Beckham Jr’s cousin.

The lesser known of the two, Terron became an overnight sensation on social media after posting photos of his pretty insane physique on Instagram.

All this was enough for Beckham to earn a work out for the Jets during their upcoming rookie minicamp (via the New York Post).

Trying to catch on as a running back, Beckham posted a 4.47 40-yard dash and bench pressed 225 pounds a ridiculous 36 times during his pro day.

To put this into perspective, Beckham’s 40 time matched that of Ezekiel Elliott during the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine.

A long shot to make the Jets’ roster, it will definitely be interesting to see how Beckham performs in front of the team’s coaching staff.
