A day after a sputtering Week 1 loss, New York Giants coach Ben McAdoo did not give a strong update on the status of Odell Beckham Jr. for Week 2.
Will Odell Beckham be available Monday night? "We’ll see," Ben McAdoo said. "We’ll take it day to day." (What? You were expecting more?)

The Giants offense was absolutely dreadful without Beckham.
New York was outgained 392-233, lost the time of possession battle by more than eight minutes and picked up nine fewer first downs than the Dallas Cowboys. Even those numbers were boosted by yards picked up late in the game against a soft Dallas zone. Getting extra attention that would have normally gone to Beckham, Brandon Marshall caught only one pass, which came in the game’s final seconds.
The good news for the Giants is that they do have that extra day of rest. Their next game will be at home on Monday, September 18 against the Detroit Lions.
