Odell Beckham Jr. sets NFL record for most receiving yards in first 14 starts

Odell Beckham Jr. New York Giants NFL

Nobody in the history of the NFL has more receiving yards in their first 14 games than Odell Beckham Jr., who has been torching the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2.

Through three quarters, the New York Giants playmaker had caught seven passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. This brought his 14-game total for receiving yards up to 1,495 — a new NFL record, according to ESPN.com.

At this point, the second-year player is proving himself in a league of his own. While his body of work cannot compare to the Calvin Johnsons, A.J. Greens, Dez Bryants and Julio Joneses of the world, there is no doubt that Beckham Jr. belongs in the conversation as one of the league’s best receivers.

If he can continue producing at this prodigious pace, then it’s fair to say the New York Giants will feature one of the NFL’s most exciting offenses for years to come.
