New Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is more than happy to be on a budding young team with a tremendous amount of talent.
While OBJ has been somewhat quiet about his tenure and eventual departure from the New York Giants, he seemed to take a shot at his former team on Instagram Tuesday.
“Finally get to be off my leash.” It’s rather obvious that Beckham is taking a shot at the Giants. Drama surrounded him and his former team even after New York handed the receiver a record-breaking deal last year.
Whether this is a veiled shot at Giants quarterback Eli Manning remains to be seen. But it could also be looked at that way.
Now in Cleveland, OBJ gets to work with a rising superstar quarterback in Baker Mayfield and one of the best skill-position groups in football. That’s a far cry from what we saw in Jersey over the past several seasons.
