Odell Beckham Jr. says Giants looking to spoil playoff races

The reality of no postseason berth is settling in for the New York Giants, but Odell Beckham Jr. is confident they’ll still impact the playoff picture.

ESPN’s Jordan Raanan shared Beckham’s outlook for the rest of the season.

“At this point, we can only focus on Washington. There is no ‘what if.’ We’re going out there to win. If our season is over, I’m making sure somebody else is coming home with us. That is the goal.”

Barring a stunning collapse from the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, the Giants won’t make a shocking run to the NFC East crown.

Still, as Beckham said, opportunities are there for New York.

The Giants travel to Washington in Week 14 and host the Cowboys during the regular-season finale. For good measure, New York also takes on AFC wild-card hopefuls in the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans.

Any victory from Beckham and Co. would negatively affect playoff dreams somewhere. In what is likely a lost season, that’s at least a small consolation prize.
