The baseball community has all eyes on the MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night, with all 30 teams represented in the annually celebrated event. For the Oakland Athletics fanbase, it presented an opportunity to have their voice heard.
Even though the game was held at T-Mobile Park in Seattle, several A’s fans made the trip to the northwest for a pre-planned ‘Sell the team’ chant, ready to let loose in the fifth inning.
Fans, obviously upset about the inability to get a new stadium built in Oakland, orchestrated the movement to show their support for their local baseball team. Clearly, despite talks of the A’s moving to Las Vegas, there’s a large collection of fans who strongly feel otherwise.

Although the FOX telecast didn’t pay any attention to it, with a Shohei Ohtani interview literally stealing the spotlight, the A’s fanbase still gave it their all. Did FOX catch wind of the fans’ plans by planning an Ohtani interview for the fifth inning instead? I guess we’ll never know.
